About film
Piotr comes to Poland from England for his wedding with the beautiful Zaneta. He plans to create a cozy home in an old house that the newlyweds inherited from the bride’s father. His plans meet a complication when, on the eve of the wedding, he finds a skeleton buried in the yard. Piotr suffers an accident, and when he regains consciousness, he realizes that the horrible discovery is gone. The wedding begins, but there is something wrong with the groom.

Polish film and television director, screenwriter, and producer. Wrona was born in Tarnów in 1973. He got his Ph.D. in Film Directing in 2011. He was a member of the European and the Polish Film Academies. Wrona died by suicide in a hotel room in Gdynia, where he came to present his last film Demon. The film was created in co-production with Israel and premiered at Toronto Film Festival to warm acclaim. Local media explained the director’s suicide by depression, alcohol addiction, stress, and by his disappointment at the lack of recognition at home – the film did not get any awards at the festival.
