About event
A talk on the history of the emergence of the State of Israel, the causes and preconditions of the Arab-Israeli War -- the war for Israel's independence -- and what distinguished it from other wars of the 20th century. The war of independence, which began in November 1947 after the UN adopted a plan for the partition of Palestine and lasted until July 1949, ended with a cease-fire agreement with Syria. What mistakes could have been avoided by one of the parties to the conflict and what it could be fraught with, what was the role of Arab neighboring countries in the war and much more we will talk with Maxim Gammal after the film.
