The winners of the 8th MJFF have been announced

The winners of the 8th Moscow Jewish Film Festival were announced during the Closing ceremony.

The 8th Moscow Jewish Film Festival has come to an end. The closing ceremony took place in the Oktyabr movie theater. During the ceremony, the jury members named the winners in seven nominations.

• Best Film: «My Fathers secrets», directed by Vera Belmont.
• Jury Prize: «June Zero», directed by Jake Paltrow.
• Best Feature Short Film: «Women of virtue», directed by Stephanie Halfon.
• Best Documentary Feature Film: «Zakura», directed by Ivan Vdovin.
• Best Documentary Short Film: «Enya», directed by Reuven Yamrom and Haim Eliyahu.
• Yakov Kaller Prize of the 8th Moscow Jewish Film Festival for «The Best Russian Jewish Film of 2022": «Righteous Man,« directed by Sergei Ursulyak.
• Honorary Prize «For Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Jewish Cinema in Russia": theater and film actor, producer, TV and radio host Leonid Yarmolnik.

In addition, a special mention of the documentary film jury was awarded to the film: «The Center».
