The animated film Where is Anne Frank is a co-production between Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Netherlands, and Israel. It is a piercing story about historical parallels between our times and the past. Kitty, Anne Frank's imaginary friend to whom the girl devoted her diary, emerges out of thin air in present-day Europe. She lives in the Anne Frank House museum, has magical abilities, and is sure that she can find her favourite Anne too.
