The Competition and Out of Competition programs of the 6th MJFF are announced.

The 6th Moscow Jewish Film Festival (MJFF) will take place from November 19 to November 29.

Audiences and guests of the Festival will be treated by the vibrant documentary program with works from Israel, the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, Romania, and Australia. they include Saul & Ruby's Holocaust Survivor Band (USA, 2020, directed by Tod Lending, 12+), Chasing Yehoshua (Israel, 2019, directed by Shay Fogelman, 12+), Fiddler: A Miracle Of Miracles (USA, 2019, directed by Max Lewkowicz, 12+), It takes a family (Danmark, 2019, directed by Susanne Kovacs, 12+), Pictures of his life (Israel, USA, Canada, 2019, directed by Dani Menkin, Yonatan Nir, 12+), Hate among us (USA, 2019, directed by David McKenzie, 16+), and others.

Besides the Festival’s competition programs, the 6th MJFF will screen a number of narrative and documentary films out of competition, including RBG (USA, 2018, directed by Julie Cohen, Betsy West, 12+), The exit of the trains (Romania, 2020, directed by Radu Jude, Adrian Cioflanca, 16+), Shalom Allah (Switzerland, 2019, directed by David Vogel, 12+), Resistance (USA, United Kingdom, Germany, France, 2020, directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz, 12+) and many other.

The previously announced Main Competition program includes European and Russian premieres of films from Hungary, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Israel, and the USA: Young Polacas (Brazil, 2019, directed by Alex Levy-Heller, 16+), Shalom Taiwan (Argentina, 2019, directed by Walter Tejblum, 12+), Those Who Remained (Hungary, 2019, directed by Barnabas Toth, 12+), Frau Stern (Germany, 2019, directed by Anatol Schuster, 12+), My Name Is Sara (USA, 2019, directed by Steven Oritt, 16+), Minyan (USA, 2020, directed by Eric Steel, 18+). 

The closing film of the Festival will be the German family drama When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit (Germany, Switzerland, 2019, directed by Caroline Link, 6+), which tells the story of a nine-year-old Anna, an ordinary schoolgirl from Berlin, who must leave her hometown in a rush while escaping the Nazis.

Each film of the Main Competition Programme and Documentary Feature Programme will be screened at a theatre only once. All other films presented at the Festival will be available for online screening at zerem.tv during the Festival week from November 23 to November 29.
