The project to organize Jewish Film Festivals in Russia became the winner of the competition by the Presidential Grants Foundation.
The project includes the Festivals in Moscow (6th Moscow Jewish Film Festival) and Ekaterinburg (3rd Ekaterinburg Jewish Film Festival), as well as the 1st Saint Petersburg Jewish Film Festival in September 2020. The project also covers the creation of the online cinema with the collection of the best films on Jewish themes for the Russian-speaking world.

On one hand, we received quite significant support in terms of the average grant size. At the same time, this also implies a serious commitment for us to scale the project up. We are talking about the federal project, which includes three film festivals – in Moscow, Ekaterinburg, and Saint Petersburg, as well as the creation of a streaming platform for Jewish films with broadcasting rights to cover the territory of the FSU.
