Timur Weinstein becomes Jury head of the 5th Moscow Jewish Film Festival.
The Jury of the 5th Moscow Jewish Film Festival will be headed by Timur Weinstein, general producer of NTV and member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Russian Academy of Television and Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Science.

I am grateful to the creators of the Moscow Jewish Film Festival for the invitation to head its Jury — it is a big honour to me. I am excited to see how the Jewish theme in filmmaking has developed during the past year. Fifty-eight films are a significant measure of the fact that the theme of national communities keeps filmmakers interested year after year and gives them an opportunity to make a statement. Of course, I haven’t seen films of the competition program yet, and even though I read some descriptions and meditated upon a couple of favourites, I am going to watch the works objectively. Films on national themes always move you and touch your heart, which is very important - but together with other Jury members, we are going to make fair and unbiased decisions.
Timur Weinstein will judge participants of the competition joined by many industry professionals - directors, producers, actors and film critics: Artem Vasilyev, Stephen Mao, Nigina Sayfullaeva, Nikita Lavretski, Svetlana Ustinova, Nick Holdsworth, Jacqueline Gmach, Yevgeny Gindilis, Georgy Molodtsov, Denis Kataev, Dmitry Yakunin, Yanna Buryak, Kirill Vasilyev.
