The 5th Moscow Jewish Film Festival (MJFF) is accepting submissions for its Competition and Out of Competition programs. The submission deadline is April 1, 2019.

The submitted films must explore stories about different aspects of the Jewish culture: life of the Jewish people in diasporas and in Israel, art, religion, identity, family values, history of the Jews in the 20th century.

The submission categories this year are: Narrative feature film, Narrative short film, Documentary feature film, Documentary short film.

Vanya Bowden, Program Director of the MJFF:

The fifth year of the MJFF brings with it a significant responsibility. There is a desire to rediscover interests and goals of the Festival, to meet with our regular audiences and welcome new ones. I envision this year’s program to be extremely diverse and of the highest quality. I want to gather a relevant and rich array of films on Jewish culture for the Moscow viewers. And to celebrate those films, of course.
