The 4th MJFF announced its Educational program. It consists film discussions, lectures and discussions

On May 23 the discussion «Odessa as creative Klondike» dedicated to the film «Into_nation of Big Odessa» will take place at Oktyabr Cinema. Following the screening of the documentary “Bobbi Jene” about the woman who dances, fights for her independence and bravely faces its consequences, the guests of the Festival will have an opportunity to attend the unusual dancing workshop “Living an artistic image through the body” by Toma Nuevo. On May 24 at the Documentary film center there will take place a discussion «From patriotism to nationalism. Where the boundaries are?» led by public figure Alexander Kargin and TV-presenters Kirill and Andrey Eykhfus, following the screening of the documentary film “Forever Pure”.

On May 27 there will take place the screening of the documentary «Ink of Yam» and the lecture «Ink of Yam». «Signs on the skin: social and symbolic functions of tattoos». The discussion is organized together with the Eshkolot. (Eshkolot is supported by the Genesis Philanthropy Group.) On May 28 film and theatre director Vladimir Mirzoev will lead the workshop «Modern directing at the intersection of feature, documentary and digital filmmaking». The event will take place at the Jewish museum and tolerance center and is supported by Kino-teatr.ru and MirTesen social network. On May 29 the Jewish Museum and Tolerance center will host the screening of «Nathan the Wise» with musical accompaniment by the “Speedball trio” band.
