The 11th Moscow Jewish Film Festival will be held in Moscow from November 8 to 15, 2026.

The eleventh Moscow Jewish Film Festival (MJFF) will be held from November 8 to 15, 2026. Over the course of the week, audiences can look forward to a large-scale showcase of the best Jewish cinema from around the world: more than 40 films from across the globe, including European and Russian premieres of both feature and documentary films. Alongside the screenings, the festival will, as always, host educational events and Q&A sessions with filmmakers and guest speakers.

Sergey Sdobnov, Program Director of the Moscow Jewish Film Festival:

At the heart of the festival program is the fate of the individual and the family against the backdrop of great historical events. For those submitting entries, the central themes remain Memory, the Holocaust, and Tradition. This time, we would like to connect the program and the submitted films to how people, in the most difficult times, send signals to one another in the hope of being understood — how they try to speak about what matters, across the horizon of the 20th and 21st centuries, through culture, clothing, social media, radio, music, and even food.

Following the competition program, awards will be presented for Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, as well as for Best Feature-Length and Short Documentary Films. In addition to the competition and non-competition screenings, audiences can look forward to retrospectives, master classes, discussions, and round tables.
