The VR program of the film festival will be held on Sundays from February 9th to March 16th. New movies created with the help of one of the most promising technologies. The program was curated by director and Webby Awards winner Georgy Molodtsov.

For five weeks (on Sundays), viewers will be able to see films by directors from four countries: Israel, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.

  • «Spots of Light» is the fascinating story of Dan Layani, a young soldier who tragically lost his eyesight in battle in 1982. After 25 years in the dark, Dan had the opportunity to undergo experimental surgery to restore his eyesight. And so, when his eyesight returned, he saw his beloved wife and children for the first time.
  • «ByStanding: The Feingold syndrome» is a film by Israeli director Nim Shapir. In 2009, Jasmine Feingold, the Israeli rowing champion, capsized with her boat on the Hayarkon River in Tel Aviv and lost consciousness. None of the dozens of passers-by rushed into the water to help her. Using new methods of three-dimensional photography, photogrammetry, animation and 360° video, the project allows participants to relive the day through eyewitness confessions.
  • «Letters from Drancy» is a film created with the help of virtual reality. It's not just a VR movie, it's a way to preserve the memory of events that changed the course of history. The museum supports the use of virtual reality to rethink history.
  • «Battle Hymn» is a film directed by Yair Agmon. Every night, hundreds of IDF soldiers conduct dozens of detention operations in Palestinian villages in the West Bank. This film gives viewers the opportunity to look at this «routine» life experience of the IDF, where masculinity and shame, strength and weakness, humility and power are combined.
