The Jury of the 9th MJFF announced

Aleksey German Jr. became the chairman of the jury.

Aleksey German Jr., director of the films «Dovlatov», «Air», winner of the Silver Lion of the Venice Film Festival, became the chairman of the jury of the 9th Moscow Jewish Film Festival. This year's festival participants will be evaluated by leading representatives of the film industry.

We present the jury of the Main Competition:

Sitora Aliyeva, producer and film critic. Director of international festivals. Guest lecturer at film schools around the world, member of the European Film Academy.

Roman Kantor, screenwriter and producer. Winner of the Golden Eagle Award for the best screenplay for the film «Silver Skates». The author of the scripts of the TV series «Epidemic» and the film «The Master and Margarita».

Sofia Lebedeva, an actress of theater and cinema. Winner of the Golden Leaf Theatre Award. One of the most filmed Russian actresses in Hollywood. She starred in the films «MacMafia», «Tetris», the TV series «Vikings: Valhalla».

The jury members of the documentary film competition are:

Polina Pribytkova, film curator and journalist. Cultural manager and director. He is responsible for the direction of cinema at the Zotov Center.

Ivan Vlasov, director and documentary filmmaker. Laureate of the Laurel branch. The author of the films «Wild World», «The Wind Has No Tail». For the last film, the director received the Golden Centaur and the Rastorguev prize. 

Olga Erofeeva-Muravyeva, general producer of the Sverdlovsk Film Studio. Co-owner of the Monumental Pictures film company.

The jury of the short fiction film competition included:

Anna Kudevich, costume designer. She worked on a series of films «Major Grom», «Hardcore Henry», «Christmas Trees 3», «Execution» and others.

Sergey Deshin, film distributor and film curator. The program selector of the VOICES festival and the film distribution company K24. Is published in the publications «Session», Syneticle, «The Art of Cinema», «Afisha», Kinopoisk.

Vlad Tsenev, a theater and film actor who starred in such projects as «Mediator», «Live life», «Replica», «Limonov. The Ballad of Eddie».

Following the results of the 9th Moscow Jewish Film Festival, the jury will determine the winners of the prizes. The winners will be announced in six categories: Best Film, Best Documentary, Documentary Jury Prize, Best Narrative Short Film, Best Documentary Short Film and Jury Prize.
