Mikhail Bogin

A Soviet and American film director, a classic of national cinema. He gained fame for his trilogy of lyrical films «Dvoe» (1965), «Zosya» (1967), and «O lyubvi» (1970), which became a cultural phenomenon of the 1960s-70s. His debut film «Dvoe» won the gran-prix at the Moscow International Film Festival and gained international recognition. In 1975, Bogin emigrated to the United States, where he continued making films.
