About film
This poignant and deeply moving historical drama tells еру story of a teenage girl's courage in the face of persecution, suffering, and the unknown. The film depicts the Vélodrome d'Hiver roundup—the largest mass arrest of Jews in France during World War II. Young Tauba Zilberstein (Violette Guillon) and her parents, Moshe (Guillaume Gallienne) and Rivka (Adeline d'Hermy), Polish Jews, take refuge in a maid's room at 209 Rue Saint-Maur in Paris's 10th arrondissement. They are sheltered by the Dinaso couple, who hide them while the danger passes. But the wait stretches into two long years. How can one live confined – three people in six square meters – constantly fearing discovery?
