About film
Shosho, a secular musician leading a cosmopolitan life, and Naama, an Orthodox woman, divorced two years ago due to irreconcilable differences in worldview. Their four-year-old daughter splits her time between two homes: one strictly governed by Orthodox Jewish rules, and the other, her father's, where almost anything is allowed. The young parents navigate everything from weaning their daughter off her pacifier to deciding how strictly to raise her in religion, all while revisiting the reasons they are no longer together. After all, Naama still clings to the dream of a life with Shosho.

Naama Oliven is an Israeli director. Born and raised in Jerusalem, she first studied media and communications at a religious girls» school. After graduation, she completed two years of national civilian service in Israel and Australia, later working as a teacher and tour guide. In 2023, Naama joined an advanced training program for ultra-Orthodox women at the Ma'aleh School of Film and Television. In 2024, she completed her student film Choosing You, and is currently developing her graduation project.
