About film
In the summer of 1979, 20-year-old Jérôme Berkovich and Carole Brickerman go on tour to Odessa. There they are going to meet a company of refuseniks, the Jewish people who are actively harassed by the Soviet regime. Carol becomes driven by her desire to fight against the absurd they are witnessing, and Jérôme – by his feelings for Carole.
