About film
Lenny Solomon is a Jewish rock musician from the United States who rose to fame in the 1980s with the parody band Shlock Rock. He rewrote popular hits with Jewish-themed lyrics, becoming a leading figure on the American Orthodox Jewish music scene. Four decades later, he returns to the stage to show that his music can still touch hearts. The film explores his struggle to remain relevant, the pain of fading fame, and the sources of strength that keep him going. It is a portrait of an artist who isn’t afraid to age but fears being forgotten.
