Meir Bulka, a photographer turned «grave hunter,« travels across Poland in search of abandoned and forgotten Jewish cemeteries. His mission is to restore names to Jewish graves and a place for memory in the present. This is not archaeology, nor a search for evidence; it is an act of resistance against erasure. Yochay Rosenberg's film is an intimate and quietly powerful portrait of a man who has taken on an impossible task: to restore presence where absence has long prevailed.

Yochay Rosenberg is an Israeli director, cinematographer, and producer. A graduate of the Ma'ale Film School, he has worked in documentary filmmaking for over a decade. His films include The Yard (2009), Heroes of Salonika (2021), and Like a Dream That Fades (2004). His film The Wounded Healer won Best Film at the Israeli Documentary Film Awards in 2018.
