About film
The film tells the story of Beatie Deutsch — an Israeli marathon champion who began running to get back in shape after her fourth child and unexpectedly became a national hero. The documentary follows Beatie's journey from her first race to international competitions, including her attempt to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games. At its core, the film is not just about the race against time, but also about an inner conflict: how to stay true to Orthodox Jewish tradition, be a mother, and still live her dream?
