About film
A film about a religious Jewish couple who secretly live a secular life behind closed doors. Vered (Noa Koler) and Avihai (Assi Cohen), an observant Jewish couple, uphold every tradition in public but privately watch television on Shabbat – the holiest day in Judaism. Their carefully maintained world unravels when their teenage daughter unexpectedly catches them in the act. This incident sets off a quiet storm of defiance within the family, testing both their authority and their faith.

He gained recognition for his roles in Israeli television series including The Shababniks (2017), Sissu Ve'Simchu (2022), and The Stronghold (2023). The short film Holiness marks Morehet's debut as writer and director. The film was selected for competition at film festivals in Haifa, Atlanta, Washington D.C., and Tel Aviv in 2025.
