About film
Ida and Samar, both in their eighties, meet in a city park. Ida is Jewish. Samar is Muslim. Though they come from different worlds and seemingly have little in common, their encounter takes an unexpected turn. Told entirely without words, the film captures how barriers can be broken, connections forged, and peace and harmony can be discovered.

Sherry Halperin is an American producer, director, screenwriter, and author. As a teenager, she trained at a drama workshop in New York and spent five summers at the Cecilwood Theatre as a stagecraft apprentice, where working alongside future luminaries such as Barbra Streisand, Dustin Hoffman, and Peter Fonda. She produced the award-winning feature film Adopt A Sailor (2008) and served as President of the organization Women in Film and Television.
