About film
An Israeli noir rap opera exploring a tangled web of disappearance, love, and betrayal. Nightclub singer Sarah Bennett (Moriah Aikon) hires private detective Joe (Amit Ulman) to find her missing sister. As the investigation deepens, Joe becomes increasingly captivated by Sarah, she soon emerges as one of the prime suspects – alongside the crime lord Menashe, who has long held the city in fear. And when Joe's partner disappears, police suspicion falls upon the detective himself.

Amit Ulman is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Israeli art, seamlessly blending music, theatre, and poetry in his work. He began his career as a poet and rapper and was a pioneer of the Israeli spoken word movement. In theatre, he gained acclaim as the writer and director of the hip-hop opera The City, for which he received the prestigious Golden Hedgehog Award for Best Text, Direction, and Music. The opera was later adapted into a film. He also served as screenwriter, lead actor, and one of the composers for the project.
