In Marat Mardakhaev's new film, Dina Shekhtman, a former ghetto prisoner, Yevgeny Brik, the director of the Institute of Judaica, and historian Yuri Zagorcha discuss little-known aspects of the Holocaust in Moldova and why many of these events were not widely discussed at the time. They also discuss what can be done today to ensure that the memory of this tragedy is not completely lost.

Marat Mardakhaev is a Russian filmmaker and cinematographer. He graduated from the Higher School of Television at Moscow State University in 2014. After graduation, he worked as an assistant director on the film «Biochemistry of Betrayal», which was produced by the Russia-1 television channel. Since 2019, he has been making his own films, including «26 Iyar. Crimea» and «26 Iyar. Konigsberg».
