The main character of this documentary is Terry Neville, a British man who is not Jewish. Despite this, his role within the Jewish community where he lives is significant. Terry is known as a shabbat goy, a non-Jew who is able to perform necessary tasks during Shabbat, the Jewish day of rest. The film follows him as he goes about his daily routine, showing how his interactions with the community and their traditions have helped him to better understand his own roots and values.

Adam Goott is a filmmaker and producer based in London, known for his work on the Netflix series «Captains» (2022) and the independent documentary films «Who Killed the KLF?» (2022) and «Welcome to Darkness» (2023). He holds a degree in English Literature from Cambridge.
Alex Slezinger hails from Radlett, Hertfordshire, and studied theology at Cambridge University. He directed plays at the Cambridge Footlights theater group and is currently pursuing a career in law. In parallel with this, he creates films that explore unexpected religious themes.
