About film
During Passover in 1943, over a hundred Jews fled Veria, a city in Nazi-occupied Northern Greece, in order to escape deportation. Some found refuge in remote mountain villages, while others struggled to survive in the forests until the end of the war. The film «The Well» not only tells this story, but also allows viewers to feel the impact of these events on those who survived.
