Between the Stone and the Flower (2023)

Jeanie Milgrom was born and raised in Miami, but she always felt disconnected from her Catholic faith. In the movie, Gini, as she is known, goes through a journey of self-discovery, leaving her traditional Catholic roots behind and embracing her Jewish identity. Her search for her roots takes her to various European countries, where she discovers long-hidden family secrets. With the help of her husband, Michael, an Ashkenazi Jew from Romania, Gini finally learns the truth about her origins.
