Yaeli, an ultra-Orthodox Jewish girl, has a secret that could destroy all her chances for future happiness. David, an outstanding student at the Yeshiva, a religious school where Talmud and Jewish law are studied, wants to take Yaeli on a date. However, her father, who is also a professor at the Yeshiva and is very religious, refuses to allow the two to meet, citing religious laws. The question is: will love for his daughter or adherence to religious principles win out?

Director and screenwriter Rachel Lévy immigrated from France to Israel when she was 15 years old. After returning to Paris, she studied pedagogy at the Sorbonne and worked as a teacher and director of Jewish schools in Israel and abroad. Upon returning to Israel, she completed her studies at the Maale Film School and her short film, «The Ugly Swan», from her second year of study, was shown at numerous festivals around the world. Her graduation film, «The Source of All Beauty», is based on her personal biography.
