About film
One day, the young girl Fefele wakes up and realizes something terrible has happened. She feels her world is collapsing after the sudden loss of her father. As she is assigned to sort through the cluttered belongings in their old apartment, she wonders if it will help her understand the complex history of her family. The film, with its soft tones, accurately captures the girl's feelings of depression and the atmosphere of a small Russian city, possibly Rostov-on-Don, from where the filmmaker originates.

Alica Khaet is a German-Russian-Israeli artist and filmmaker, working in the fields of graphics, illustration, animation, and performance. In 2006, she immigrated to Israel and enrolled at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. Later, she studied art and animation at the Prague Higher School of Applied Arts and the Academy of Arts in Halle, Germany. Her works have been exhibited throughout Europe. Her first animated film, «The Way to Yourself,« was released in 2017. Since 2009, she has lived in Germany.
