Swimming with Wings (2023)

Leaving home and moving to a new country can be challenging. Due to a military conflict, Leary and his family moved from Israel to the Netherlands. At first, everything seemed strange and unfamiliar. One of the most unusual things was that children learn to swim in their street clothes here. In this animated film, the director uses the example of baby penguins to show his experience of integrating into Dutch society. The director uses simple materials such as pencils, crayons, and paints to create a stylized world that conveys the mood and emotions of the penguins.
