About film
A semi-fictional, semi-documentary film that explores the impact of trauma on three generations of a family, through the story of a boy who is haunted by nightmares about a Nazi soldier who survived the concentration camps during World War II. The film is not only a study of this family's trauma, but also a reflection on the history of trauma and its effects on people's lives. It is dedicated to the memory of the director's grandfather, who passed away before the film's release. Behind the scenes, Sean Vansteim, the creator of the film and the boy in the story, adds a humorous touch to the film, helping to lighten the mood and approach the story in a less tragic way.
