Belisha is 27 years old and is a carefree, friendly person with an excellent command of Krav Maga. He is in high demand in the job market and has many talents. This is what his mother, Giselle, thinks, with whom he lives in the suburbs of Paris. Giselle leaves the house less and less often due to illness and, after the closure of the local synagogue and kosher grocery store, she worries about Belisha's future. They are the last remaining Jews in the city and other residents are not particularly friendly towards them. Belisha's mother wants to know what her son can do to help calm her and maintain his carefree lifestyle.

Noé Debré, the son of a lawyer and an ophthalmologist, grew up in Strasbourg in a Jewish family. He studied cinematography at the Graduate School of Cinematography, and then classical philology at the Sorbonne. In 2020, the TV series «Parliament» was released based on the script by Debre. Other famous works of the director, producer and screenwriter: «Dheepan» (2015), the short film «We are not animals» (2021), «The Seventh Continent» (2018), «Stillwater» (2021) based on the script by Debre with Matt Damon in the title role.
