About film
Michael, Gal, and Kim, three surfers from Haifa, set off on a journey to Arugam Bay in Sri Lanka, one of the finest surfing spots and a major destination for surfers from around the world. Friends go there in many ways to honor the memory of Yuval, Kim's boyfriend, who dreamed of surfing in Sri Lanka and died while serving in the army during a military operation in Beirut. Meetings with Sri Lankan locals, Iranian surfers, a French peace activist, and others lead the characters to rethink their lifestyle and worldview. As they travel, the tropical paradise becomes an emotional hell, with injuries and unresolved issues from the battlefield coming to life, putting the long-standing friendship between the girl and her two friends to the test.
