About film
Tamash, an elderly boxing coach, has been friends with his neighbors and pupils, but he has not maintained contact with his son, Ivan, since he left Budapest to join the Orthodox community in Israel. After Tamash's wife Zhuzha unexpectedly passed away, Ivan decides to travel to her funeral and observe the seven-day period of mourning, known as shiva. Tamash has set a condition that his son must come with his young grandson, Ariel. Father and son will not only face old conflicts, but they will also need to help Ariel deal with the grief and the belief that their grandmother's spirit remains in the house.
