About film
An Israeli adaptation of the famous Italian movie that was adapted in several countries. Seven childhood friends gather for dinner on the night of a lunar eclipse and decide to play a game where all calls, messages from their phones are listened to and read by everyone in the room. It soon becomes clear that not all the friends lead honest lives, secrets come out and question the seemingly strong friendship.

Lior Ashkenazi is primarily known as an actor, including in dubbing roles, and has received two Ophir awards for Best Leading Actor — for Late Marriage in 2001 and Foxtrot in 2017. He first stepped into the director's chair while working on the TV series The Policeman's Daughter. Perfect Strangers is Ashkenazi's first full-length film.
