About film
Margalit runs an orphanage for orphans and disadvantaged children in her own dilapidated house on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, in the Neve Tzedek neighborhood. After Margalit's death, the orphanage is run by Jackie's assistant and former ward. When it turns out that the old house belongs to the city municipality and has been bought by a businessman to build a hotel on the land, the struggle for survival begins. Jackie must now clean up the establishment to keep it from being shut down by social workers and fight back against the municipality. To his aid come the teenagers from the shelter, for whom this house is the last safe place in the world.
