About film
The movie draws on events from late 1947 to June 1948 and covers the Battle of Kibbutz Nitzanim in the Arab-Israeli war. Mohamed, an Egyptian journalist, accompanies a combat team of Egyptian volunteers who go to help the Palestinian Arabs to make a movie about the Egyptian army's image of victory. His journey leads to an encounter with a determined neighboring commune leader and young mother, Mira Ben Ari. Mira puts Mohamed's ideals to the test, and their relationship leads to events that will change their lives forever.
