About film
A tense thriller about Prime Minister Golda Meir, who is faced with the daunting task of preserving the state of Israel. Set during the 1973 Yom Kippur War, the film spans 19 days of intense conflict. Syria, Jordan, and Egypt are at war with Israel, seeking to reclaim their territories. Golda must navigate challenges, find common ground with a skeptical cabinet of ministers, and work with U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, as millions of lives hang in the balance. «The Iron Lady of Israel» reveals a more intimate, hidden side of Golda Meir in this film.
