About film
Necro-Men is a splendid comedic variation on Ghostbusters who come to life in the real world. Two Israelis (at least one is a real Jew, while another is a Muslim) decide to make some money by exorcising dybbuks (demons) out of the possessed people. Imagine the surprise of the two hoaxers when, for their very first job, they get a teenage girl with something sinister and otherworldly actually possessing her. This film simultaneously directs its irony at superstitions, which today exist even in most progressive families, and at the impossibility to defeat those superstitions by anything — save, perhaps, the visit of the two incompetent charlatans.
