About film
What is the secret of Shirel Peleg, whose debut feature Kiss Me Before It Blows Up became an instant success? Perhaps it is her ability to bring together the themes of LGBTIQA+ and the challenges that exist in relationships between the Israelis and the German descendants — and much more. When Maria flies from Berlin to visit her lover Shira, she is met with a misunderstanding fiercely expressed by Shira’s sardonic grandmother. Meanwhile, there is another contradictory couple that enters the plot, but we won’t talk about it before the screening.
