About film
In her new provocative documentary, director Maya Zinshtein explores the political alliance between American evangelicals and Israel’s right wing, as well as their influence on the foreign policy of the Trump administration. Why do the leaders of American churches encourage their churchgoers — even those of modest means — to make donations for Israel? Because they believe that Israel’s territory expansion will play the key role in the prophecy about the end of the world when all Christians will be saved, and everyone else, including the Jews, will perish. This is utter nonsense — and perhaps one of the truest signs of our contemporary reality.
