About film
Marko Feingold, the hero of this film, used to say: “Nothing can hurt those who already died once.” He himself died several times, having survived four concentration camps: Auschwitz, Neuengamme, Dachau, and Buchenwald. From the moment of his liberation to the day he passed away at the age of 106, Marko dedicated his life to helping people in need, and later channelled his efforts towards Holocaust remembrance. The mighty destiny of a true man unfolds in this documentary biopic.

Director
Christian Krönes, Florian Weigensamer, Christian Kermer, and Roland Schrotthofer are a team of experienced directors at the Austrian company Blackbox-Collective. It was founded by Krönes and Weigensamer after they met while filming social documentaries in Asia and Eastern Europe. They were later joined by Kermer as a DOP and editor and Schrotthofer as a production manager. Together, the four co-directors have already released over three documentaries. Their latest collaboration, A Jewish Life, continues to explore the motif of chronology and continuity, which was present in their previous works as well.
