About film
This film describes the unique Jewish culture in Atlanta, where the annual Kosher BBQ Festival takes place. And no, this is not an oxymoron. Director Adam Hirsch, one of this Festival’s organizers, looks behind the scenes of this curious event, observes the lives of people who try to combine the traditional Jewish culture with that of the American South. No Pork on the Fork is made according to all the rules of the contemporary documentary filmmaking that appeal to the audiences – films on gastro and culinary themes are particularly popular, especially when spiceв up by the comic directorial approach. This film makes one want to laugh, and also to go have a meal afterward.
