Saul (94, drummer) and Ruby (90, accordion) are Holocaust survivors, and they love music more than anything in the world. Their dream was one day to perform their music in Poland, their homeland, where they once endured unimaginable trauma and suffered endless losses. The music helps two charming performers to convey their most important message – that of world peace. That message keeps being relevant at a time when antisemitism and prejudice are growing throughout the world. Saul & Ruby's Holocaust Survivor Band is a narrative documentary directed by Tod Lending (the Oscar nominee and the Emmy Awards winner).
