Krzysztof Kopczynski

was born in 1959, producer, director, and screenwriter. He is a Doctor of Humanities, a lecturer at the University of Warsaw, and an expert at the Polish Film Institute. Kopczynski authored many books and articles about the 19th century, as well as contemporary Polish culture and media.  He is a member of the European Film Academy,  International Documentary Association, and Polish Film-makers Association. In 2015 he released his film The Dybbuk. A Tale of Wandering Souls about a conflict between Orthodox Jews and Ukrainians.
