An old Jewish baker struggles to keep his business afloat. One day, the sales skyrocket thanks to the baker’s young apprentice, who has accidentally made the dough in a very special way. The film stars Jonathan Pryce, the renowned Welsh actor, and an Oscar nominee.

In 2015, Goldschmidt released Dough in co-production with Hungary. The film won nine awards at film festivals in the USA and France. Goldschmidt was a jury member at BAFTA and the European Film Academy and had made documentaries for BBC and HBO. Goldschmidt advised the European Union on its audiovisual policy and proposed the setting up of a European Script Fund as part of the EU's MEDIA programme.
