About film
It is not every day that we meet people who have done as much for history as Benjamin Ferencz, the hero of this film, did. Today he is 99 years old and but a little taller than 4′9″, but back in the day, it was this small man who had done a highly important job when he participated in hearings of the most resonant murder case in modern history. The courtroom in which he spoke was in Nuremberg, and on the defendant’s bench, there were people who were accused of the cold-blooded murder of more than a million men, women and children. Ferencz is the last living prosecutor of that trial of SS officers.
