At the beginning of an intense workday, Mori says goodbye to his wife, but he does not realize the tragic mistake he has just made. We Had a Forest tells about an unfathomable phenomenon of human memory and its consequences.

40-year-old Israeli cinematographer and director. He graduated from the School of Film and Television, Faculty of Arts at Tel Aviv University. Together with Berlinale award winner Eytan Fox, Raz worked on the film Yossi. We Had a Forest became his directorial feature debut – but Raz also worked as a screenwriter, editor, and producer on it. The film premiered at the Jerusalem Film Festival in 2016. In order to complete the project, Gheaduy crowdfunded 13 thousand dollars on the Israeli platform HeadStart, while its lead actors Yaron Motola and Liron Vaisman agreed to work for free.
