The heroine of the movie, Agnes Keleti, is a Hungarian gymnast of Jewish origin, five-time Olympic champion, world champion, and multiple Hungarian gymnastics champion. Her father died in Auschwitz and she was forced to go into hiding, pretending to be a Christian. Her name was included in the «World Gymnastics Hall of Fame» in 2002, and in March 2023 Agnes Keleti became the oldest female Olympic medalist in history.
