Vlad Telman is a historian, and a licensed guide to Israel and Jewish places in Europe. He has spent over twenty years working in non-formal Jewish education and educational tourism.

Vlad Telman and Documentary Film Program Curator Ksenia Gapchenko will talk about the problematics of fathers and children and the change in the perception of the very terms. They will discuss the extent to which we can justify artistic devices used to strengthen a film’s message for the viewers. And, of course, about the director’s great-grandfather himself, about whether he was right and whether he was really a hero.
