About event
What challenges and reactions does one have to face if they openly say in today’s society that they are gay? And what if that person is also a Rabbi? How similar are the religious and the sexual journeys of self-discovery? How do modern gay Jews manage to bring together their sexual identities and their religion? Does the formal kiddushin for same-sex couples contradict Jewish law? Rabbi Steve will talk about life, struggle, and the film with the Narrative Film Program Curator of the Festival Egor Belikov.
